Another Led option is the orphek Atlantic v4. It is more of a panel style led and has really good even coverage and great colors. I have one over my tank and got it based on reviews that it's coverage was close to that of a t5 fixture

You only need one gateway so I'm glad they sold it separately. As for price it's price per watt is cheaper than radions or kessils and its coverage is much better. One panel will cover 36" x 40" per their specs. I would say 2 panels over a 48" tank would provide amazing coverage for a sps dominant tank. To get really good coverage with kessils or radions you need 3-4 units and most people say t5's on top of that to eliminate shadowing. That is going to be way more than the 2 orpheks and a gateway.

The
The problem with these aquatic life fixtures is parts availability. Are there replacement ballasts, reflectors and the like? With ATI they have parts for every part of their fixture.
The aquatic life crew is very responsive on their forum here and offer a 1 1/2 year warranty. If you already have a led I think they’re hard to beat.

hows the programming compared to ecotech coral labs programs

Their coral growth program is equal levels on all 4 channels (I like that they take the guesswork out and have you just run everything at 100% for their recommended coral setting). I'm running that and I really like the colors you get. The only difference I made was extending the blues and violets to stay on a little later and reduced the intensity to match the par levels I was looking for. The app is pretty easy

List of built in programs (there is like 10 or so and you can save as many as you want)

so wat if got the aqautic life hybrid fixture and added just 2 bulbs instead of 4 wat 2 bulbs would i get would

Hybrid fixture will not turn on unless 2 bulbs are plugged into the ballast. Now you could run just one of the ballasts if you wanted, but you wont be able to do straddled bulbs of one bulb in each ballast.
