Hello everyone. I am in need of some help lighting a frag tank. I purchased a 30X16X10 and I am not sure on what I should use to light this tank for good coverage. It will be tied to my main system. Will be mostly zoas and a little lps. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

On a budget ? Get one of the black boxes BRS just reviewed and gave high marks for.

Then pop the cover off and remove the lenses so you just have the bare LEDs. That's what I did with mine and it covers a 20L ( 30" x 12" x 12" ) with impressive uniformity 6" off the water and still bright enough to grow SPS. I wpuld have to go T5 or ReefBrite strips to get smoother coverage.

There are obviously better looking lights, but for a 30" tank it will be tough to do with a single AI prime, etc. Just my suggestion.
