so due to recent life events, I have been forced to downsize.
long story short I now have my custom built 40b from ocea, and am having problems lighting it.

right now I have 1 250 radium 20k over it, This just doesnt give me enough. I have come in posession of an icecap 660 and want to put 4 t5's over it for supplemental lighting...
I was thinking 1 6500k, and then a combination of bulbs to bring out color.

Anyone have experience supplementing radiums with t5? what brand/type should I use?

Also... given that I am filling this with the entirity of my 185's sps load, it going to be cramped... anyone have an idea on an affordable calcium reactor?

Last question, just how long is a typical 39w retrofit? I know it says 36, but obviously that is to fit over a 36 inch tank, in my canopy i have about 1/8" shy of 36

ok heres what i've figured...

1 giessman midday 6500k
1 giessman pure actinic
1 ati blue +
1 korallen fiji purple

do these sound good with a radium 20k?
