I am getting into sps and want to convert my 4'x2' (12" deep) frag tank. Right now I have leds but am considering switching to mh/t5.

Am looking at aquamedic dual 150w mh with dual t5 setup. Will this be enough? It will be mounted about 16-18" above the tank.

T5. 6-8 bulb will do goo for it. we have a 8bulb ATI hanging 17" above the water.

at first we started it off at 20" then worked our way down over a period of a month just in case.

you can do the 150W duel 4bulb T5.

if i were you just get 2 pendents 16" ones make sure there good reflectors as they play a good roll in putting the light out as well as a good ballest. . look on RC or here there was a guy selling some great ones for cheap . you can always retrofit a 2bulb t5 for both sides with some good reflectors.
