I have a 65 gal breeder (36l x 24h x 18d). Currently have a thriving tank with fish and inverts. Trying to have a few corals to add to it but they are not thriving.

I have plenty of flow. A Vortech WP10 with x2 koralia 425 on a controller. Have everything tuned up to the point of not shifting sand. There is a good alternating flow in the tank.

I have 2 - 36" florescent Aquaticlife fixtures x2 12k bulbs x2 blue actinic bulbs (4 bulbs total, 39w x 4 = 156w or 2.4w per gallon)

I currently have a large hammer coral and a small acro frag. Neither is thriving.

I figure I need to increase my lighting. Would;

1) adding a third florescent fixture with 2 more bulbs.

2) removing an actinic bulb and replace it with a 12k

3) adding a couple of 12k led reef strips

4) adding 2 PAR38 bulbs

Really appreciate the input.

Id say you need more light in there. Im assuming your using one fixture of each side of the tank, meaning that you only have 78watts over each side. I would not think that enough, id add another unit over each side, 2 more lamps on each side, changing the lights out to one actinic, 2 blue plus and one 10k on each side. Or get 2 led units.
