I have a zoomed lowboy as a DT. Currently, I have a maroon clown and a white spot puffer. I want to make the tank into a softy/lps tank. What are your lighting suggestions? I want a sleek look that will last a long time. Currently using my Fuge light on the DT until I get something else.

What sort of price range? Also, were you planning on mounting or hanging the light?

You have quite a variety of options. Any of these should work for a mixed reef with LPS and softies

2 Kesill a360we or 3 a160we

2-3 AI prime 16HD lights or 3 AI prime sol blue

2 red sea reef led 50's

1 maxpect razor x r5 200w

If you don't mind going to non name brand lights I can also list some of those.

I just edited it to make it easier (removed some overkill options). I have used kessils, AI's, and red sea lights at work but only a prime for a tank I own. I currently have ocean revives on my tank but you would have to hang them. All of these lights have a good reputation and ahve been popular on reef2reef (except the red sea since they are rather new so there are no long term tanks with these and the maxpect which is a little less common).

BRS has videos on these lights
