Don't want to start a war but what is considered better noophsyche or the new nicrew lights because the nicrew lights would be very easy to mount, but if the noophsyche is better then I'll manage with hanging them.

I’ve tried both and sold the noops. The Nicrews are extremely similar to radions in output and design (wonder why.) I’ve also got multiple XR15s and when they die I’ll definitely replace them with Nicrews.

The noops work but customer service is non-existent. The Nicrews have US based support and you can tell they’re made quite well when you hold them. I’ve got two of the 150s over a 36” tank right now with excellent results. Maybe one day I’ll update my build thread!

Another plus is they’re available on Amazon, which means easy returns and exchanges. You get a badly QAd noop and you’re SOL

Well this is definitely reassuring. Them being on Amazon made me do it. That and the mounting

As a longtime SPS keeper, I will be blown away to see good results without a ton of shading using two point source fixtures on a 6 foot tank. If it were me, I would be using four of the lower wattage nicrew, or bars.

Well I'll try the two they say the have 3ft spread and if need be I'll add two more. Still cheaper than radions

What ar

What are the leds?
Orpheks and Reefi UNOs. The T5 provide the spectrum and coverage. You can run any LEDs you want as long as you have enough par.

It’s not the spread lights put out. It’s the shadowing from small light sources.

Ok so if I need more add bars or t5s ?

Im growing lps and zoas 4" from the edge underneath my frag racks, theres not a single LED in current market that can do that.

I also just got done removing a reefbrite and adding 2 helix to my main display:

What you said about no customer support is intresting

I mean I contacted them on r2r and they responded but I think i'd still go with nicrew with aliexpress bars, or those radion knockoffs called the "a8"

On off and I believe there is a high and medium setting

He said with these leds you can just take pics with a phone, no need for a filter. Just like the old days
Sorry, but that photo looks like it was taken with a potato…

Its a galaxy s23u. R2R compression sucks, trying to capture pics under spectrums through glass and water isnt easy on 6ft frag tanks.

Same tank, same potato.
