So currently have 2 k7 mini on my 40 gal breeder. I have a k7pro would I add it in the middle or just use the mini. Would it be to much.

I think it would be fine. better then two k7pros. the minis you could tilt toward the center and bit instead of straight down and help with shading.

The nice thing is you would be able to turn them down. I had a k7 pro over a 13.5 fluval for a while. now have 5 over a 300g and hopefully buying 5 more soon.
