Like white dust all over surface of water???

Hello All, came home from Thanksgiving trip, had a bit of cyano outbreak, but manageable…more important, I cannot figure out what this is all over water surface???

Not sure what it is, but throw a filter sock in sump and adjust your water flow to keep dust and substrate from lingering on the surface.

That is also likely a nuisance organism. This accumulation doesn’t happen if sufficient surface water flows back to pump rather than water below the surface flowing back to the pump.
