I have a well-established 55-gal bowfront reef aquarium with very limited under-cabinet space. Would like to replace my old two-stage canister filter with something less nitrate-friendly, but... space. This is essentially an AIO setup - no sump or refugium. Appreciate any "small-but-mighty" filter recommendations - or even advice in replumbing this to make it all fit in a 8x30x24 high cabinet. Thanks.

considering you have space to the right of the tank, perhaps making an external (outside the stand) sump and have the under tank space as storage for your fish supplies (test kits, food, etc)?

just a thought.

Good trouble: Have mushrooms ever become pests in your aquarium?
