Krill isn't the best for them, but every once and a while won't hurt. You can try silversides, shrimp, anything big enough really. Once they learn you as the feeder they will pretty much take anything from you.

You could open up your rocks some on the right side and make him a nice cave, they like hanging out in caves. I have 4 lions in my 90 and 3 caves, sometimes all 4 of them are hanging out in the same cave like a bunch of bats.

Wonderful. I have a lion. He does this color change when feed due to this natural hunting they do in wild. My lion is getting huge I feed whole silversides mysis shrimp and anything freash from seafood market. Love tilapia octopus shrimp with hard skin on it. Heck when I’m rich I’ll go to the lfs and get eight shrimp that eat those plants people don’t like. And put in tank and watch him hunt naturally, it’s a sight to see. Good luck. Variety is the key. And not everyday.
