Is this the predator that you're wanting to breed live food for? This Lionfish should be fairly easy to train onto frozen food and then you can feed it a more varied and nutritionally complete diet.

If your fish looks like the one in the photo, I would assume it to be a Volitans/Miles or Russels. If it's actually pale like the one in the picture, I would assume it to be a sick Volitans/Miles/Russels.

Does yours look exactly like the picture, or pretty close?
