Eventually I want to get either a Dwarf lionfish or a Valentine Puffer.

I can't decide which one- maybe both, but for now, one.

Those who has had them before, which do you prefer? tell me your experiences!

I personally prefer the look of the dwarf lion, but valentini puffers are easier to get eating.

Once upon a time I had a dwarf zebra lionfish and it was easily one of the most personable fish I've ever had. It would swim to the top and spit water at me every time I'd open the lid to feed the other fish. That being said, puffers are crazy intelligent and will very soon recognize who gives them food and be curious about visitors. Both awesome fish but I vote dwarf lion.

I have a dwarf fuzzy lion and a baby harlequin puffer, I feed the lion by hand, it wins fins down on the personality stakes! ;)

I think it has to be either or, as those puffers are notorious nippers, and likely any reports on them being reef safe is short lived. I've seen many returned after chomping corals. Sorry but even a coral banded shrimp would be lunch for my lions.
