Hello every one! Thanks to a friend I began my journey into reefing November 2017. Having owned a fresh water tank for two years I was ready to take it up a knoch.
I acquire a free 90gallon with stand and began my equipment journey.
Shortly after this photo I began acquiring more rocks some lighting and adding coral and fish.
Equipment as follows. Maxspect ethereal lighting, icecap 3k some 792 gph pump I purchase on amazon. When 300 watt heater reef octopus 110sss protein skimmer.some of these items would later be changed. As the months progressed and my tank cycled and matured I began to add fish and coral.
I built this custom sump 30gallon with a friend
I recently as of two weeks ago upgraded my return pump to a maxspect turbine duo and painted the stand and canopy and what a world of difference!!!!
Added a micro ato and this is my RODI holder. If you zoom in that’s all my current controller.
It’s amazing what a little paint and blacking out the back glass will do. My last upgrade is to get a larger protein skimmer. So far the maxspect line and ice cap products have been a go to and have been a breeze to setup. Thanks for following along I’ll be sure to add fish and coral in updated posts.
