Help! I need help identifying these little white bugs in my reef tank. They come out at night and scurry all around the tank. They congregate on this very sickly GSP frag. Are they bad? Are they causing the gsp harm? Any ideas?

I can’t play the video in full screen but it looks like copepods to me. They are probably feeding on the layer of microalgae that have formed on the surface of the GSP not likely that they are the ones causing your GSP problems. What are your parameters like? It looks like the GSP really isn’t doing well.

Parameters are not the greatest. My nitrates and phosphate are near 0. I have some bad brown algae. I moved the gsp which was a bad idea as it has since gone down hill fast. I have some other gsp pieces that are doing better. All my lps is doing good but i think my softies are suffering from low nutrients. I have significantly bumped up the feeding to combat this.
