Hi there,
As mentioned in my previous post, I’m currently running my tank without fish due to a covid wipeout. I was given some rock from my local aquarium guy, from a tank he was dismantling. Now I have all this little white guys, and they seem to be multiplying quickly. Is this good, bad? I currently have nothing in my tank but rocks.

it's good. Sadly there's so many types of pods, I can't recall which these are. Tiny fish will gobble those up. many Wrasse will pick them up for food.

Sounds like you are describing copepods. Beneficial to have and act as food for larger organisms. You likely also have their main predator in aquariums, amphipods, hidden in your rocks.

Free food for fish and coral. If overpopulated, small wrasses such as coris wrasse and 6 line wrasse will eat then as will scooter blenny and mandarin goby
