I've read lots of old threads about LiveAquaria and Saltwater.com. Anyone have good recent (last couple of years or less) experiences with them? I have no other option but online and was thinking of trying one of them. I know about other options and have used some of them. I also realize that at least old threads say bad things about LiveAquaria shipping from CA but everything I want is always shipping from there so any experiences with CA shipping for LA?

Thanks

Saltwaterfish.com all the way.

Bad experience time after time with Live Aquaria, and good experience time after time with Saltwaterfish.com

Another option is Petco online, healthy fish.
Yes I've been using them. Great success. I actually like that they just shipped them straight from the supplier. But unfortunately they don't have some of the things I want and are out of a lot of the things I want every time I check

After several/many orders from both over the last few years, I certainly prefer saltwaterfish.com with mostly good experiences.
Most of my LiveAquaria experiences have been bad, though I have gotten some healthy fish through them.

Between the two, objectively I'd say saltwaterfish.com. Historically, they've been good to me and I've mostly had good experiences. My last order went not so well (3 out of 3 fish dead within 3 days, only got credit back on one fish), but I think the issue was more due to rough handling by FedEx. And it would have been nice to get credit on all three fish, but they didn't deny me on anything they shouldn't have. The first fish was an expert-only fish that died outside of their guarantee window on that type of fish, and I never found a body for the other one. The one fish whose body I was able to retrieve, they gave credit on right away with no hassle.

I still get chafed by their box fee, though.

Have you checked Tankstop to see if they have what you are looking for?
