Live aquarium cam

Hey everyone, I started a live feed on my tank your more then welcome to veiw to the url is:

http://192.168.1.3:8080

Right now its bed time so it might be dark. And plz do not hit focus or it will unfocus lol till I fix it. Here is the schedule of "events" and ill try to stay live with it during thses times:

Weekdays
6 am- lights come on
6 to 7 pm- feeding cleaning than only blue lighting
9 pm- moon light only

Weekends
Same but Saturday between 2 and 4 is a water change
 
Im also disabling the focus button (its an old droid phone converted into an ip cam), but u guys can turn the light on and off lol and I havnt tried it yet but I think the 2 way sound works also if u wanna chim in

And if u have a cell phone you can use the app called tinycam on android phones

It's not going to work at all. Your IP is to your home router, not the modem. Basically, it's a generic number that only you can see when your connected to your home wifi.
 
Yeah, you need to find what your external IP address is (which may change) and see if your software supports connecting externally.
 
I'm not going to argue what's a fact, but nobody's able to see it. I'm not a networking tech but I know something. :)
 
I dont know right now but ill find out a little later if not you guys can walk me through it ill make it public
 
Thank you reefer eric I think I figured it out now evryone will just have to wait till I get home and try setting it up
 
Dose anyone else have a cam hooked up to there tank thats open to public view or is this something new that im doing?

use dyndns.org . It maps your ISP's dynamic IP address to a host name. This way no matter how many times your IP address changes, the host name will stay the same.
