If I go away for a few days, can I put some live brine shrimp in the tank? Would it last them a few days?

What kind of fish/ how many fish do you have? you'd have to put a lot of brine in there to last even a few fish for more than a day.. I would either try to find a tank-sitter to feed while your gone or invest in an automatic feeder.

Doubt it. You could do a good job of screwing up your water parameters though. Better to just portion out your food, refrigerate it, and have a sitter feed them. Or if it's truly just a few days, just leave them be.
