Hello,

Current stock is 2 clown, watchman goby and pistol shrimp, fire fish, lawnmower blenny, royal gramma. 40 gallon tank.

Wondering if there would be any issues adding these three.
  1. Christmas Wrasse or six line wrasse
  2. Purple firefish
  3. green clown goby
Was a little worried with the green clown goby and watchman together.

open to other suggestion's as well.

six lines can be pretty mean so its 50/50
Dont mix firefish species
use caution when mixing gobies, not recommended

Skip the Six Line!! Go with a different wrasse instead. A six line will become a little $@#%^@@# in a 40b. I also personally think you are going to be OVER stocked with so many fish in a 40. I think you are already pretty near full and would just add a cool wrasse if it was my system. That said, if you can keep it well maintained, go for it!

Awesome thank you for the info. Great to know about the 6 line lol. I will prob just add the Christmas wrasse then and skip the other two. The goby worried me a little bit cause i did read that in a lot of places just wasnt to sure. Also didnt know about the firefish. I always forget these guys are still small and will grow more.

Guess my next question would be is there a better wrasse that people recommend?

That is very similar to what I plan to stock in my 40g. Cant answer you question about the wrasse but I do have a question for you if you don't mind....How long did you wait to add the lawnmower blenny? I'm planning on adding a Starry blenny and I know they both mainly consume algae.

it was about a month and it seems to be doing great so far.

HOW MUCH DOES A FISH’S FEEDING REQUIREMENTS AFFECT YOUR STOCKING DECISIONS?
