How good do you want the resolution Chris? I have a Canon VB series webcam (used more for video / security surveillance than anything else) that works really well. Pan / Tilt / Zoom etc - works well in low light too. You can set the camera to take pics at certain places in the tank at different times during the day for coral growth sequence. You can access if from anywhere in the world as it has it's own built in web server. It has to be hooked up via ethernet cable but it works REALLY well. They are fairly pricey for a webcam but it just depends on how much you want it to do. Hope that helps.

I use a Foscam FI8918W (Black) Wireless IP camera that plugs directly into my home ethernet system. I have one of them on the ceiling in front of the display and one in the fish room to monitor for more issues. Not tied to a computer, you issue it's own internal ip address. They also work wirelessly if you want them to, but I assume you lose some of the refresh speed. The iphone apps are great for it and allow you to pan, zoom, change contrast/brightness. Turn on/off IR lights that works very well when then lights are off. It's not as high as resolution as the Canon VB... Allows me to see corals flowing in the current in the dark (let's me know the pumps are working properly)/even my fish can be seen swimming in the display with all of the lights off. Couldn't have made it through a month in Vietnam without it and my controller!

For the price, I wasn't expecting it to be as good as it is... I've used it since December and couldn't be happier with their product.

Other questions...let me know!
