Lonely Randals shrimp goby

Got a Randals goby +tiger shrimp pair...in two days, cleaner shrimp killed the tiger. Want to try again, but isolate the cs until the pair get situated...Has this been tried?...Chance of success?

huh? what kind of "cleaner" shrimp?
tunneling pistol shrimp are generally able to be pretty well protected and hold their own against most things. I'd be surprised if that's actually what happened.

Skunk cleaner...he already took out 2 small ocelaris...could be I didn't drip long enough...did one hour...

How long have you had the tiger? If it’s brand new, it is more likely that it died then the other shrimp got to it.

It came as a long time pair with the goby...it was attacked almost immediately...died next day.

That sucks. Sounds like a problem that needs to be rehomed.

No...sorry...my tail spot blennie harassed them to death.

A blenny harassed clown fish to death….. your tank lives in an alternate universe. Lol. Sorry for your losses. What size is your tank? Shrimp can be hard to keep together in small tanks.

20g...they were very small clowns...thinking of trying again with bigger clowns...unsure about adding a other pistol...

I can’t have another shrimp with my fire shrimp in my 24. It kills them. Doesn’t bother anything else but he tears shrimp to pieces. Clowns are usually the tank bullies. I have heard of a couple mean tail spots but not often.
