Long individual strand algae id

Looking for id on this algae. Almost looks like a piece of long hair got stuck on a rock and is blowing in the current.

Newish tank, not widespread but want to control so it doesn't take over.

Im dosing nitrates in small quantities as I was having issues keeping them up.

Phos 0.028
Nitrate 15

I do have small patches of caulerpa nummularia that I am picking out as it pops.

I also have a starry Blenny in qt that I'm hoping will take out some of the algae. Might look into a fox face in the future.

Question about the algae eating fish. Will they not just spread the algae by consuming it and pooping it out into the water.
