My favorite softie. It’s about 13x12 inches big now. I want to get it huge. What do you guys add to your tanks to get softies huge.

I read somewhere that softies like high alk. Can anyone confirm.

In all seriousness, though… toadstools seem to thrive in higher nutrient systems!

— my LFS actually uses tap water in his personal 180g softy tank and his toadstool is 18”+! (This isn’t an endorsement for tap water, just an example of tank conditions toadstools can survive, and even thrive in!)
