Ok I got a long polyp like 3 day ago and the polyp part has not came out yet I can't tell if it is dying or if take a couple day for the polyp to come out.

I got mine and it must have been really mad. lol It took well over a week then slowly started to extend. Once it finally attached to the rock it went nuts and now extends out much larger than I ever thought it would. Just be patient the just have attitude.. It's now extending three times this length if not more.

be patient they are resilient corals! i accidentally spilled super glue on mine he wouldn't open for a week:( i thought i lost him!
but he's bigger than ever now!
 
Oh yeah those sheds for days doesn't open till the wax are all off, I blow it off with a powerhead to speed up the process; the following day it starts opening up again
