Acclimating an urchin, currently it is bobbing at the top of my tank, what steps should I take next to properly acclimate it? It seems there is lots of conflicting information so I am not sure what to do once the temperature of the bag has equalized. Thanks for the help.

A long acclimation is key, they are salinity sensitive. A slow drip when acclimating is good to. I have a blue tuxedo so I don’t know if you can do this with the long spine urchin but try not to let them touch the air when adding them to the tank.

Ok all of that failed. I think the store has the same salinity as me though so it is probably okay.
