I have a long tentacle plate in the tank for about 11 months. Fully opened it's around 9 inches across. Lately, it's been on the move after 11 months in one spot. Nothing has changed regarding parameters, salt, lighting and flow and there's nothing within a few inches that is stinging it. When it's on the move, it tends to wedge up against the front glass. I move it back and try other positions, but it just moves towards the glass after a few days. Can someone tell me if the plate corals are like anemones, and will move to find ideal flow/lighting?? It seems curious to me that it is on the move after almost a year in one place. Thank you!
