Hey, I've been a member here for a while but I guess I haven't posted. I've owned 3 setups over the past 20 years starting with a 20 gallon long fish only tank, then moving to a 55 gallon fish only tank with inverts, to a 12 gallon nanocube with softies, a shrimp, a clown and a bunch of inverts. I just pulled the trigger on a Max Nano peninsula and haven't decided what I'll set up with it yet. This tank will be the most thought out setup to date and I'll certainly be coming here for inspiration and information. Thanks in advance for your help everyone.

Welcome! Glad you joined. Sounds like you are well on your way!

Have you considered starting your build thread? I found its a great place to document my tank's evolution for myself. I started tank first then joined, so I'm still finding myself going back collecting pictures & updating historically as well as current state. Once you create your first post in your thread and link it to your account, they will give you build badge (look left, under my ID). Entirely up to you, but you might even consider doing one for each of your tanks over in Forum > Member Aquariums

This might help you find people local to you:

This is a good reference book type online article I still review:
