Hey, I've had a Longfin Bannerfish for about 6 months now. I was wondering what everyone's experience was with them and corals/clams.

Personally, I have seen him go after zoas, but he leaves anemones, grandis palythoa, leathers, chalices, encrusting LPS and montipora alone. I've been thinking about getting a clam or some euphyllia, but don't want it to be an expensive snack.

I like the bump and will share my recent experience. He took a couple of bites from my montipora when my autofeeder didn't work for a day. It was a nice size bite, but hasn't touched it since. He also picked at my clam for a couple days when first added, but he is good now.

He is currently leaving all corals and the clam alone. I feed 3 times a day (2 auto pellets and 1 of frozen rods food), and a half sheet of nori on a clip. I'm thinking about trying some euphyllia, but haven't decided if I want to take the risk. I'm sure he would peck at it at least once.
