Hey, @Hanna Instruments

With two Cuvettes now coating more than I bet I paid for these... Anyone want to buy vintage Hannas?

Will they still work? Alc, Calcium, and Phosphate checkers.

I was looking for the cuvettes... Where do I look next?

Now how about these reagents?

I'm not a fan of Hanna calcium due to the design flaw (IMO) of taking only a tiny tank sample and having a big multiplier on the answer. It gives folks lots of headaches and many throw it awayy.

I would not use any of the reagents.

The cuvettes (if clean and not scratched up) and electronics should work with a new battery.
I was not planning on using any of it. I never use any out of date testing supplies.

What test do you suggest?

I personally do not measure calcium at home because the way I dose calcium and alk and magnesium (AFR and regular water changes), tracking alkalinity alone is sufficient to keep the others in line.

But many folks do prefer the Salifert calcium kit to the Hanna.

I did this. I went all in on Hanna stuff when I got my first reef. Several tests were replaced with Salifert including calcium eventually.
