Looking for a small gfo/carbon reactor recommendations

I know you didn’t ask this, but I’ve used both in a high flow area of my sump in a bag. You can find really cheap bags on Amazon these days. Tossing bags is a lot easier than reloading reactors IME.

I think the efficiency argument (less efficient in a bag vs reactor) is not strong for me because I want both to work slowly.

Any of the sigma series i really recommend.
I have 2 of them, a small one and a large one.

The top chamber just twists off and on for easy clean.
The pump is by siccee.

I bought them after watching this video from BRS:


i think they go by a different brand when aquamax got bought out.
But it should be the same sigma series.

I ordered this one.
I wish I had room for a taller reactor. I could make one out of parts I have from old ro/di systems.
This one fits. With the clamp suggestion from BryanM I can make it all work.

I'm not sure a gravity feed would be enough pressure. If the manifold was being fed by a pump and it still had pressure, you could.

After getting and installing this kit, I find one thing that is missing. That is any 90 degree fittings. The supplied hose is extremely stiff. I had to order some fittings from BRS. Maybe optional fittings to add to the kit in checkout.

(Ill be reinstalling the sponges, my smart self put them in both at once without paying attention, SMH.)

Manifold is fed by the return pump. Right now, I use the 1/2 line for water changes, but I am thinking about connecting my dual chamber reactor to it

Mounted on the side of a small sump or inside the sump.
Total water volume is about 70 gallons.
Looking for maybe a complete kit with a pump included.
I have a old phosban 150, but I'm looking for a smaller size.

I like the ability to just hang it on a tank for spot use. It is small but you will need a small pump that will hang in the tank so I would get a Sicce so no fish will get stuck in the inlet.
