Tunze ATOs

+1 tunze. Super reliable and have a big community around them.

Spectrapure or avast marine works. Both turn on and off with air pressure switches, no optical sensors to fail.

I've had tunze 3155 for about 3 years on a nano. I now have an Avast for a little less than a year. Both worked well for me. The tunze comes as a complete standalone unit with a pump and sensors.

The Avast is an air pressure switch, but you have to buy the pump separately. I use an aqualifter with it. The Avast had the advantage as it has an Apex ready option.

Since you don't have an Apex, the tunze may be a better option for you.
