I am starting a new ceramics class and want to expereiment with more coral textures. I am wondering if some people would be willing to send me some dead coral fragments, SPS/LPS. I would also like to use some peices as knobs or decoration for the projects.
I had good results with a single acan. If anyone has any freshly dead skeltons I think that would be best for getting the best imprint. I had a 1" frag of Pocillapora but it was too small to make a good imprint. Maybe frags 2-3" in length would be best or bigger. I also plan to make ceramic stamps for the other students to use them in the furture. I have done it with the two frags I have now but want to add more variety.
