Just tie colored string on a long rod or skewer too see how much flow you have in certain parts of your tank lol

that works well for returns and power heads but my output on my reactors falls into the sump in a spot that would be hard to see a string but thanks

How much flow are you needing? This is good up to 300 gallons per hour. We use similar rotameters for chemical feed pumps in water treatment plants and disinfection systems.
