I'm putting together a tank with leathers and softies. And I'm looking for some nice variants and pieces.

Anybody have a frag of a yellow leather in the HSV area? A little birdie (@Tomoko Schum) told me that H@rry had some at one time.

I'd also be interested in some green hairy if it's out there too.

TIA

Sorry, but I got rid of all my softies. They were releasing toxins that was irritating my SPS.

Don't have anything yellow at the moment, but I do have that Japanese Green Toadstool & Cornbred's green nepthea. I'm in Birmingham but happy to meet you to sell or trade if you're interested.

I would be interested in those. I'm in the HSV area. Maybe we could meet in Cullman?

Is that one on the right of the fuller tank picture yellow? That's kinda what I've been looking for?

I might also be interested in a small frag of the reddish finger leather.

Sorry the pictures are not a good representative of the color. They are more light green. As for the red finger I have never tried to frag that one but we can try. I am in Athens. Send me a PM.

Thinking of fragging this pink finger leather, has anyone used an iodine dip post fragging? It has lost a lot of size since I first got it. I have read an iodine dip will revive and kill off parasites.

I have used Seachem's iodine-based dip in the past. I suppose that it might help disinfect the coral. I'm sure it wouldn't hurt.

However, some leather go through phases to slough off their outer cell layer, so-called algae tunic. It sometimes takes awhile to do so. I suppose that fragging it and moving the frags to another location more favorable to that particular coral would help. Some like higher flow or even higher light.
