looking for Peristaltic pump for ATO res. in basement.

has anyone used this for ATO top off from basement?

I have say 8ft of head and about 8' run to sump to my avast ATO the diaphragm pump is quite load and the other half says I need to do something.

I know there is a spectra pure one but that is quite a lot of $$$

what about a versa?

I do have an apex with a DOS but want to set that up for AWC and from what I read the DOS was not intended for ATO use? IDK
I would prefire a stand alone unit anyway.

open to options. I am sure there are some out there I am not thinking about.

cheaper the better so I could use it on the other tank too.
that said I want reliability for cost.

Avast ATO use sicce pumps. Just get a sicce pump that’s capable of 8’ head pressure.

that does not works as the ATO is under the tank and the RODI res. is in the basement. so it has to suck or pull water up not push.

I have 4 RODI tubes coming through the finished wall. so no real way to get cords down there.
that is why I am thinking of a peristaltic pump.

there must be others out there that have there ATO res. in the basement...

I think the versa might be an option.
I'll have to look into that more.

I guess I should of added the tank is a 200/275 gallon with sump. so the BRS one @ 50ml would be to slow of a flow unless i had a contentious drip.

oh that is nice. it's only 120 mil/min. but as long as it quite i dont mind it running for a while to top up the tank. I normally evap. around 1-1.5 gal. a day.

I have never ordered gear from there before. do you know if that is a know off or just cut out the middle man pricing?
it's tempting for sure. :)

digging around they have a versa for 54 bucks too. wounder how that compaires to the US made one??

I had the same hesitation, but I gave it a shot and have received one. It appears to be the real deal. I have not used it yet but what I received is solidly built. It is made in China and was shipped from China. It took about a week to receive it but there were no hidden charges.



Also I am surprised you are only losing that little water. I would have guessed between 1 and 2% of total water volume.

me too I live in the dry rocky mountains and do heat with fire about 5 months out of the year. I am going off my last tank around the same size ( RS 650P)
so maybe I am evap. more. IDK

I am glad you got a solid unit. this could be an option for sure. thanks you so much for the link. the price is better for my wallet.:)
