Hi there, I'm very new to this forum and pretty much made my account for this question, but apologies if I'm posting this in the wrong spot. I'm actually an arachnid hobbyist, and for the past few weeks I've been trying to get my hands on unwanted pycnogonids. I've heard that they can sometimes come with corals and are usually harmful. I've been slowly growing my preserved specimen collection, and when I found out about them I knew I had to find one. Unfortunately since they're pests, not reef stores actually sell them. I was wondering if theres any saltwater aquarium hobbyists looking to get rid of some :)/

I don’t any have to offer, but I’m happy to bump your post and see if anyone else does.

Sea Spiders/Zoanthid Eating Spiders anyone?

Unusual request... but they are likely only going to come in on wild caught or maricultured corals, and there are generally fewer of them coming in. I've only ever had them once, now more than 10 years ago, on a single frag, and since I dipped it, they all fell off and never got into the system. Maybe 1cm across, not big guys, while I'm sure they exist in the hobby, I think it will be tough to find them that someone has the presence of mind to preserve or otherwise send.

Thank for your reply, Having them be small is no problem for me. Thanks as well for letting me know that they've become more uncommon as pests over the years. While I'll continue my search I'll definitely keep this in mind.

Found this and figured you or someone else may be interested OP (though I don't know if they ship to Canada) -

Did you end up finding any?
