I have had LPS for over 1.5 years. Hammers, acans, frogspawn, candy canes and Duncan. I also had stylo and moti caps. Recently, I added SPS. I dropped the phosphate down to .5 from 3 when adding in SPS. About 2 months ago, I had a couple of hammers that dropped a few heads. I dosed with Cipro and it cleared up. I noticed some stn on the stylo last week and the hammers weren't happy. The candy canes have also regressed. The acans are melting away. I feed three times a week with Red Sea and before that it was reef roads.

Today, the regression continues and the hammers and frogspawn look swollen and stiff after 5 days of dosing. The Duncan's tentacles have regressed.

I am using Rowaphos to manage P and did have some carbon, but took it out a few days ago and shut off the UV and skimmer due to dosing more Cipro.

Sps are happy as can be along with the goni, mushrooms, lepto, toadstool, zoas and anemone.

Any thoughts?

How fast did you drop the phosphate? .5 is still high IMO, try to get it to .1. Do you have any algae in the tank?

its weird to me that duncan and candy cane and acan are doing poorly, they are super hardy corals that can adapt to different tank conditions. Maybe a full tank pic will help......

It took about 3 weeks to drop P. Yes, had algae issues. They were happier when P was high. Position in tank hasn't changed for these nor have the light
