This might sound weird and complicated but I have a Reefer 300xm with two G1 ReefLEDs. I have acros at the top and mixed reef with mainly zoa and LPS mid and bottom of tank. Whenever I try to slowly ramp up my lights, even on acclimation mode, all the softies and LPS get *****. But the acros and millis up top need more and are a bit brown. Nutrients are controlled so I think it’s mainly lack of light. Is there a way to light the top of the tank without affecting the corals in the bottom? I was thinking of angling something across the top and set it at a 45 degree angle to just hit the top of the tank. Any ideas?

Parameters in case someone asks:
Salinity 35ppt
Nitrates 5-7
Phos 0.03-0.08 depending on Rowaphos
Ca 450
Alk 8.2
Mg 1350
PAR at top about 250.

I use 2 kessel 180’s set at an angle. They are mounted to the sides of the tank. Maybe 12” from the rock work.

Do you mean the A80s or the 160s? I can’t seem to find a 180.
