I am battling an infestation of pyramidal snails, and looking for Thalamita sima crabs, I have tried a Yellow Wrasse but he isn't eating them. Anyone know of a vendor that has Thalamita sima crabs?

Sorry, never seen those crabs for sale... As a fellow clam fan, I can only shudder at the thought.

Pretty good article on pyramid snails by James Fatherree on Reefkeeping.com...

He's recommending sixline wrasse.

I'm no help here either. I did do some research on this crab and I can't find anywhere that it says they eat pyramid snails. It would be cool to find out if they did though! I read that starvation is the best cure for Pyramids.

  • None! My inverts are model citizens. :-)
