This looked like an Acan echinata/sub echinata when I picked it up, but with the mouths open like that and space between polyps, I'm wondering if it is a lord? What do you think? Not very colorful in either case, but curious.

I can see that. echinata/subechinata have what looks like a continuous skin around the polyps, right? My others appear to, but I don't the polyp extension others do on my lords, so I wasn't sure if the echinata's polyps should look separate or not. When the tissue pulls back and it pokes septa out, it looks a lot like an echinata/sub.

Ya, especially the little stripes in the outer ring of the polyp. It does resemble echinata allot. I have about 15 different echinata/sub and I see what you mean. Could be, but I'd put my money on favia.

Thanks guys. I'll just label it Favia in the spreadsheet. Maybe if there is some die-off, I'll see if I can confirm ID on it then.

Stressed because of color? The polyps were somewhat inflated when I took the shot. That was what made me think it might be a lord. I'll try to get some better pics. It has neon green mouths (very small slit). That is its biggest redeeming quality ;) .
