Well, I need some help.
100g aquarium, ~30g sump. Been up I don’t know maybe a year? Excellent growth, zoas, lps, popping new heads. Sps/montis growing with polyp extension. Quarantined all my fish.. except one. And well you know, of course I had an outbreak of ich. To top it all off, around the same time my purple tang and blue hippo starting going at it, and the hippo ended up with sores on its body.

In a panic I bought Ruby Reef Rally pro along with kick ich. Dosed for the recommended amount of time, added a UV, and now fish all look great.

But my corals can’t seem to recover. All SPS/Montis peeled away from skeleton. Fungias slowly peeling away as well (1 is completely unphased) Zoas still look great, although their growth has definitely slowed. It’s been more than I month since I dosed, and have since done numerous water changes.

Torches are all incredibly happy, although my hammers/frogspawn are struggling ( bleached in color, heads peeling off)
My /ChSB anemone is bleached and shriveled.

I also switched salts from reef crystals to Tropic Marin reef pro. 10% changes, then a big 50% change when I started losing fungias. All small pods that use to be all over the glass are gone, rocks are starting to get covered in algae. I feel like the Ruby reef just wrecked my tank.

but how do i recover?

Current Hannah checker numbers are:
Phosphate: 0.09
Nitrate 13.3
All 6.5
Mag 1270

06/7 numbers were:
.17 phos 16.6 nitrate

And earliest documented #s: 02/22
Mag 1295
Alk 5.8
Phos 0.3

I’m about ready to drain tank and be done. Again.

Alk and mag are both pretty low. I'd bring the alk up for sure. I've noticed my corals seem to suffer more at lower alk - especially SPS.

Reef rally pro and kick ich does not cure ich.

Ich will come back sooner or later.

I am willing to bet that dosing those in the DT did not help with the coral health, even if they claim to be reef safe. The lower alk definitely is an issue as well, I keep mine at 8-9

I would run some carbon as well. And maybe go back to the old salt? Tropic Marin has low alk
