I use vinyl tubing for my returns and to pump water from my mixing bins. Didnt know, but vinyl tubing leaches tons of tin. Lost my big red monti cap and all other montis stalled and browned out. Took several months of just assuming it was something else before I did an ICP

Looking under my blue late I see lots of slightly dark 1mm dots
I used a toothbrush and they came off

It might be a good thing losing the montis so I can replace them with a ton of acros!
Always a brighter side :)

Hey guys
It turns out there’s nothing wrong with the montis
The patches of no polyps are where my lemonpeel angel has had a peck , the areas of patches missing changes and I caught her having a nip
Panic over
