My hammers melted away today after struggling for about 2 weeks very sad day.
About 2 weeks ago I came home from work and didn’t see my hammers which always sat way up high the stalk is attached to a rock I found the rock which weighs about 1 pound on the substrate in the back of the tank with the hammers face down in the substrate with all the rock weight on them somehow the rock fell off the top don’t know how. I placed it back on its spot the hammers were retracted and looked very stressed they stayed somewhat closed the wholes time until today when it finally died.

Not good But at some point we all lose coral. Hammers are one of the more attractive in the right lighting.
Watch weekly auctions from Aqua SD. Nice selection and price
