New video from this evening. Don't mind my bad filming skills haha, should be known by this point, lol. Got parameters again also. Everything was about where expected after the 15g WC with RS Blue bucket, alk still a little higher than I expected. I thought it may be down around 9.5/6 but was 9.9. Will still let it drop slowly and see what it is again Saturday/Sunday.

I take offense to that downplay of filming skills.

Water parameters from yesterday. Everything is still looking good. Alsk is slowly coming down, looks like about 0.15 dkh per day drop. Could drop is quicker if I lowers dosing some, but I think a slow and steady decrease is better. Hopefully be at 8.5 by the end of the week with a WC tomorrow or Wednesday.

It's the bigger version of the 165. Apparently the brand new ones can only change in 10% Increments. Mine do 1%
I have the new version, I never had the older version but the 10% seems to work out for me.

Water parameters from yesterday, Po4 was an error read, checked it when I got home was 0.18. So a lot better that 0.4! Still working on bringing alk down a little slowly.

New video and water parameters from today. Everything is still looking good. We have to get some chemiclean for the cyano you can see.

Torches seem especially happy the 24k from last sale is really opening up and enjoying life too. Still shocked we got it! Still unsure why the princess peach frogspawn bailed out. Still saddened, but the Kermit the frog that was beside it is still very happy too.

I know the date says the 16th but it was from today on parameters.

New video update tonight. Still have berghia going strong. Saw an adult an a very small baby one, so that's a good sign they're still going. Aiptasia is slowly going away. Everything seems pretty happy, hopefully it all keeps up! 7 Days into the Flux RX treatment, Bryopsis is pretty much gone. GHA is dying off. Will do a WC next Tuesday or Thursday. But as of now everything seems happy! At the 2-month mark for our newest acros, so pretty hopeful things will continue on.

I put the Filefish in the Fuge after the Aiptasia was gone in the tank because I saw it nip a couple of corals. It has now eaten all of the Fuge Aiptasia and then 3 more appeared in the DT. I zapped them yesterday with some Kalk. So far they're gone but I figure it's going to take some time before I know for certain.

Good morning all you beautiful people! Have been nervous ever since I added in the berghia a few weeks ago. Never really saw them again after. I thought I could tell the aiptasia was going away, I thought anyway, so figured they were alive and not eaten yet. Have a leopard wrasse (well did, he jumped a couple of days ago) also the filefish and a six line.

Well last night, I saw this little 1mm x 1/8th inch on the glass! Then saw another very small that was just under a 1/4 inch. Then a big one in a crack and another in a hole.

This morning I woke up and checked the tank like I do every morning, and what do I see, 3 large berghia chowing down on some aiptasia!

I picked up 5 jars from @Dinkins Aquatic Gardens . So I definitely recommend their stock if you're having aiptasia issues.

Baby berghia (not sure what all the white things are, they were moving, so I figured pods, but maybe really small berghia haha.

Did a 15g WC and today. Going to do another 5g and manually remove a little gha that's stuck around. Ended up dosing two large scoopfulls every two/three days. I think I did that 5 times.

All algae is pretty much gone, except a few stubborn gha patches. Lost one big bird hammer and lost the blue lagoon colony. It was getting some nice colors too. I figure maybe it's because Po4 may have gotten to high. After WC today I tested and Po4 is at 0.23 so not to high, but would like it more at 0.15 I think.

Water definitely has more clarity now, no film algae on glass at all since I started the flux rx. Will try and get a video this evening if I can.

Other than that, everything seems to be doing well. Skipped this sale so I could make sure everything is staying stable and happy. Next sale I'll hopefully pick up a few more!

Here's our parameters today also

It all depends on how heavy you're feeding, and what filtration you're running. We run the Reefmat 500 and that helps a ton I think, plus an oversized skimmer. We also try not to overfeed too much. We were feeding 4 times a day, now just 2 times a day. I also think weekly water changes of 10-15% help as well.

Just a quick picture dump from this evening. Having some good growth on some @SBB Corals SPS. The red dragon from a couple months ago is encrusting over the glue on to the rock where we put it. The orange blast has encrusted over the plug and heading towards the rock. The Sailor moon has encrusted over the glue and popped a couple of new tips!

Everything seems to be coloring up pretty nicely as well. Sad that we did lose our Ultra nicks torch we named Medusa. Was our first torch, and hit had lasted forever and through all the issues where everything else died. Also lost one big bird hammer. Just some weird thing, or they just decided they were done not sure.

The Bryopsis is all gone, and just a couple small GHA patches I need to remove. I'll do that Tuesday on WC day this week. Also picked up a lawnmower blenny, always thought they looked neat. He is very active all over the tank.

The video I have uploading really shows off a lot better coloring as well, so I'll post it soon :)
