Hi all I have taken a hiatus from the hobby for OOO.... since 1998. I had a 125 gal Reef and a i kept a 4.5ft snowflake moray eel in there. I fed it fresh salmon so it left everything alone... hahaha

Neways picked up a BioCube 29, upgraded return pump with stand, oceanic Protein Skimmer, Nova Extreme T5HO 20" light, some live rock and live sand, 2 black and white clowns, some mushrooms, xenia, green star poylp, small rose anemone, some random zoanthids, a few invertebrates (emerald crab and 2 hermits) and a mexican turbo snail and a bunch of other random hardware. Got big plans for this guy and I am excited to get back into the hobby

Update.... I got some more live rock today and decided I wanted to change the set up a bit. I was going for a C-shaped formation but the rock that I got it just wasn't working for me. I also picked up some CUC guys....

2 zebra turbo snails
5 nerite snails
5 bumble bee snails
5 cerith snails
5 Astrea snails

They didn't have any Nassarius snails unfortunately. Neways so I couldn't do my C and I spent a few hrs chiseling away at live rock because some pieces were so big form before. Also I couldn't and didn't feel comfortable removing and relocating my Rose Anemone so I made a mound with some crevices lol

here is a pick....

Very nice looking new additions!

I wouldn't recommend buying the Purple Up though, all it is is an calcium additive and if you are maintaining proper Cal, Alk, and Mag levels by other means then you will have the same result with the Coraline algae.
