I have 2 6105's and they are starting to make loud clicking noises I was wondering if there was any way to quiet them down.

I had a pair of 6105's for 6-7 years and I found that when mine started to make noise it was the impellers that needed replacing.

However,,,,, on my 6055's that I still have, I use the Tunze 7095 controller and when it is set to the sequential mode, I get a clicking noise from the powerheads. That is because on that program, one powerhead turns off completely while the other is on. When the powerhead comes back on is when the click occurs. So I use the interval 2 program instead. With this one the flow doesn't turn off completely. Just goes to a minimum setting.

Yeah, try switching to one of the programs that the pump doesn't shut off completely.

Usually clicking will be due to the disk 3005.740 (6055.740 on nano streams) being worn out or missing (pre June 2010 we used a different disk, the new design reduces the clicking). It is also possible for the propeller to be worn, they may still click some on off and on cycles but not much if everything is in order.
