lowering DKH

Besides water changes what is the best way to lower my DHK. just tested the tank and its at 15! tanks been up for 6 months and has just BTAs and clownfish in it which are not doing well right now.

What salt are you using? Some are high in alk. Switching to a lower alk salt and water changes might be your answer

Switch to the blue bucket regular. Coral Pro is for SPS tanks

yeah that coral pro salt is extremely high alk. I switched just because of going to triton method. I ran high alk for 6 years without causing any issues for livestock. It might be something else causing the issues with your nem and fish. Food for thought

thank you guys, i ordered the regular and did a water change with the pro i had left which brought it down to 12 Dkh
