So new experience for me tonight, would like to know if anyone else has experienced this! I had a Vermitted snail problem, it was on the plug of hammer coral. It ended up irritating my hammer enough to where the head bailed out. The head was doing great for a few weeks, showing great signs of recovery. I went to feed tonight and noticed it was gone, and all my other corals were looking upset. What I found out happened was my hammer was sucked into my power head, sliced up and shot all over my tank. All the little bits stuck to my other corals and was stinging them! Spent quite some time cleaning each coral and whatever else hammer debris I could find.
