Hi guys,

So my Red Sea Reefer 250 is finally recovering after a bad Cyano and hair algae outbreak. I just started adding corals again. So far I have a true Todd’s torch since I’m from Upstate NY, Saltys torch, Pandora zoa frag and some twizzler zoanthids.

I’m looking to add lots of color and movement from corals. Give me some ideas or tank inspirations for and LPS dominated tank!

Sabres, I just went through all of this with my 425xl. I found planning out an LPS-dominant system to be difficult because - at least for me - the lighting and flow can be a challenge. So many species need to be in lower light or protected from the flow. Depending on your aquascape this might be easy or hard! In my case I brought in some hammers and found some good placement for them; I wish I had some more Frogspawn because to me it is the working mans torch. Then I had a great tip to start filling some of the surface with Cyphastrea and Chalice. At this point, I just need to fill in a few more places, start ramping lights, and place some Stylophora and Seriatopora on the top. Almost done!

Sorry for the poor photo, I don’t have any filters.
